BRAFF Reunion and Dinner Auction Event
When: Saturday, June 26, 2010
Where: The Four Seasons Resort, Pembine, Wisconsin: http://www.thefourseasonsclub.com/
The Four Seasons is a beautiful resort that offers an on-site 9-hole golf course. Area attractions include rafting, waterfall tours, horseback rides, and a small zoo. We have blocked rooms for BRAFF at a group rate, depending on size of room. Details forthcoming. For those needing less expensive accommodation, there are several reasonably-priced hotels within a half-hour drive of the resort. BRAFF will look into blocking some rooms at an alternate location (rates at those alternate hotels typically range from $60-$80/night).

Tentative Plans include: a Friday night bonfire, Saturday morning fundraiser non-timed Walk for Orphans around Miscauno Island, Gift Shop (Saturday a.m.-early afternoon only), Russian Tea Room (Saturday afternoon), Dinner/Auction/Cash Bar for adults (and those with older children who prefer an “adult” meal), Optional pizza/chicken nuggets, activities, and a movie for younger children (supervised by licensed babysitters in a separate kid-friendly area of the resort).

What We Need: Volunteers to help with various elements of the event – both pre-planning and on-site.

How Can You Help?
1.   First and foremost, please let us know if you plan to attend this event (or if you cannot make it due to other obligations), so we can begin estimating the number of people that will be attending! Please, RSVP to this post by contacting a BRAFF officer.
2.   Invite your friends and family to join us for this gathering. Combine the BRAFF Reunion event with a few extra days in Northern Wisconsin and create a unique summer vacation.

For the event itself:
1.   Have an item to donate to the auction? (Items should have a value of $50 or more and must be pre-identified…sorry, no last minute entries as we are trying very hard to minimize duplicate items!)
2.   Can you help with the Walk for Orphans? (T-shirt ordering, event planning, set-up, etc.)
3.   Help with the Russian Tea Room? (Event planning, set-up, etc.)

Many thanks....

Hi, newbie here

We usually go to the Big Session and have booked for Summer Sundae this year too our first time.

How much bigger is it and how child friendly is it? My kids are 8 and 10 and love the kids activities at the Big Session, so I assume Summer Sundae will have similar activities?

What time do we need to arrive to get a pitch in the quiet/family area?

Any other tips?

Thanks.

Hi,

If anyone has spare tickets for summer sundae going cheap, then get in touch. I live in  Leics , so it can be a really last minute thing. Was hoping to win some, but alas no I cant really warrant over a hundred quid each for the few bands i want to see. Let me know if you have any you need to get rid of,just PM me
Thanks
